This product allows you to thoroughly test the functionality of the M-PESA payment gateway on our website.
Process Overview:
- Checkout Process: Start by adding this product to your cart and proceed to checkout like you normally would for any online purchase.
- M-PESA Payment Instructions: During checkout, select the option to pay with M-PESA. After selecting M-PESA, you’ll be directed to the payment page where you’ll see the “Pay Now” button.
- Payment Confirmation: Click “Pay Now” to initiate the payment process. Follow the prompts on your mobile phone to enter your M-PESA PIN and confirm the payment by clicking the “Confirm Payment” button.
- Order Confirmation: Once the payment is confirmed, you’ll be redirected to the downloads page. Additionally, an invoice and download link will be sent to your email. Your order will also be confirmed, and you’ll receive a confirmation message on the website.

Getting the Daraja API:
To enable the M-PESA payment gateway on your own website, you’ll need to obtain the necessary credentials from Safaricom’s Daraja Portal. This includes:
- Passkey
- Consumer Key
- Consumer Secret
- Endpoints for Sandbox/Production for authentication and payment request.
